4. Natural Therapies and Techniques
Hydrotherapy: Techniques and applications.
Mud therapy: Benefits and methods.

Module 2: Foundations of Yoga Practices
(Duration: 2 months)
1. Philosophy and History of Yoga
Origin and development of yoga.
Understanding the eight limbs of yoga (Ashtanga Yoga) by Maharishi Patanjali.
2. Basic Yoga Asanas (Postures)
Standing poses: Tadasana, Vrikshasana.
Sitting poses: Padmasana, Vajrasana.
Supine poses: Shavasana, Setu Bandhasana.
Prone poses: Bhujangasana, Dhanurasana.
3. Pranayama (Breathing Techniques)
Introduction to breath control.
Techniques: Anulom Vilom, Kapalbhati, Bhramari, and Nadi Shodhana.

4. Yoga for Lifestyle Disorders
Stress management through yoga.

Module 3: Meditation Techniques
(Duration: 1.5 months)

Importance of mindfulness and meditation in daily life.
Types of meditation: Concentration, mindfulness, and loving-kindness meditation.
2. Guided Meditation Practices
Body scan and progressive muscle relaxation.
Visualization and mantra chanting.
3. Meditation for Stress and Anxiety
Techniques for emotional balance.
Meditation as a tool for mental clarity and focus.
4. Integration of Yoga and Meditation
How yoga and meditation complement each other.
Creating a personal routine for holistic health.
Assessment and Evaluation
1. Assignments and Case Studies:
Three written assignments based on course modules.
2. Practical Demonstration:
Students will submit video recordings of asana and pranayama practices.
3. Final Examination:
Online or offline test covering all modules.
Certification
On successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certificate in Naturopathy and Yoga (CNY) from Rajgor Health and Education Centre, affiliated with Guru Kashi University.
