Q. What was the main purpose of the institute?
A. The main purpose of the institute was and still is to popularise naturopathy and spread it all over India by leaps and bounds and to show to the the people that both prevention and management off disease may be obtained without drugs. The purpose is also to make every man awake to the possibility of preservation of fitness by the the power within him by obedience to the laws of nature. this will naturally tend to uplift the social structure of the society e and create an atmosphere of hygiene and good health. Our course is designed in the belief that (1) Medical knowledge should not be the guarded secret of a select few, but should be freely shared by everyone (2) Ordinary people provided with clear simple information can prevent and treat most common health problems in there on home earlier, cheaper and often better than doctors (3) Informed self care should be e the main goal of the health program.
Q. Can i do this course at home?
A. Yes, it is the ideal method of study in this day and age. you can study at the comfort of your own home and can select your own time for study. by providing an opportunity for home study we give maximum freedom to our students. this approach helps motivate them to put extra effort into their studies and consequently e learn more. it is our belief that home study d is best alternative for many as it enables you to work at your own place, as time allows and at a reasonable cost.
Q. How much study is required to join this course?
A. Anyone with good general education and a commitment to naturopathy can apply for admission. we have an open admission policy. we feel that if you have the desire, self discipline and motivation to learn through independent studies, you deserve a chance to earn our certificate.

A. The lessons of the course are in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati. simple working knowledge is enough. However the books of the course are available in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati. Our test questions can be answered in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati.
Q. When can I start this course? What is its duration?
A. As this is a correspondence course, enrollment can be made at any time and the course will continue for 12 months. you are free to proceed through the course at your own place, although we recommended that you do not try to rush. There is no time limit for completing your work.
Q. How much will this course cost?
A. Price will be Rs. 20,000/- for Indian Students, Includes Books, Question Paper, Certificate and Postal charges.
The complete course fee for abroad student it is US $ 750. This is to cover the additional postage and handling cost involved.
Q. What can I do after getting this certificate?
A. Our Diploma is an earned credential. It means that the student has good knowledge of naturopathy and has passed the final examination of the institute.
Our Certificate is not a passport for seeking the job, It makes a man understand the art of being healthy to help lead a happy life hence many of our students and roll with simply the goal of personal enrichment and to have opportunity to help family and friends leave a healthy life.
In India, Naturopathy is recognised by Central Govt. There is no special legislation pertaining to naturopathy and all trained persons have freedom to practice it. As there is no statutory legislation governing Naturopathy and other alternative therapies many students practice it under to constitutional guarantee which permits any one to practice anything for which there is no exiting legislative control. Some practice it as a hobby while some take it as a career. Q. Can we work as Nature Cure Doctor?
A. As stated before there no ban on the practice of naturopathy. When we say that the health and vitality with all their benefits are nothing less than your birth right we feel that the law should not be restrict the ability of people to choose wellness over sickness in a free society of ours. The word Doctor means a teacher. the responsibility of a doctor is primarily to teach his patients the means of maintaining and regaining their health. As a natural health teacher you can do that. You do not need a college education or doctor’s degree to tell the people that they can not live on Fast Food, Pickles, Ice Creams, Wine, Eggs, Hot Dogs, Coffee, Fried Meat, Cold Drinks, Candy Bars and Synthetic Drugs.

Following is the resolution passed by government of Maharashtra on 1-2-1977. Naturopathy as a system of medicine. Recognition of government of Maharashtra.

Resolution :
1) With a view to giving fillip to indigneous system of medicine, the question of giving recognition of Naturopath as a system of medicine was under consideration of Government of some time past. Accordingly, Government of Maharashtra has now decided to recognise ‘Naturopathy as a System of Medicine.’
2) The director of Ayurved is requested to take necessary follow up action and submit necessary proposals for implementation of the above decision of Government.

NATUROPATHY IN PARLIAMENT
Question of Registration for Naturopaths was raised by MP Smt. Geeta Mukherjee in Lok Sabha. in reply given on 27-12-1990, It was stated by Minister of Health that System like Yoga and Naturopathy avoid use of medicines and cure is obtained through change of lifestyle. As such Registration in their cases is not considered necessary.
